SOUTH KOREA WILL HOST A STAGE OF THE 2024 SKYRUNNER® WORLD SERIES

For the first time in its history, the Skyrunner® World Series will visit South Korea. Today, the World Series has announced 2 Peaks Skyrace as the second brand-new race of the 2024 calendar.

2 PEAKS SKYRACE

Another big announcement for the official skyrunning circuit: South Korea will host a stage of the 2024 circuit. 2 Peaks Skyrace, which has been part of the Skyrunner® Korea Series in 2023, is the second of many new races currently being unveiled for next season. The 26 kilometre route, with2,100 meters of elevation gain begins in Ulju-Gun, South Korea. 

2 Peaks Skyrace Race Director, Jey Jang, comments: “We hope to showcase the beautiful fall scenery and unique characteristics of Ulju and Korea and that through the Skyrunner® World Series more trail runners from around the world can visit and experience k-trail running! Which preserves the beauty of the region.”
 

UTNP, which has one of the most beautiful sceneries in Korea, hopes that through its involvement with the Skyrunner® World Series, more athletes from around the world will visit Ulju and experience the beauty of Ulju and Korea’s unique characteristics. 

The race will take place on the weekend of the 26th – 27th of October 2024.
 

The complete calendar and full information on the points system, SkyMasters qualification, and ranking, shall be unveiled at the 2023 SkyMasters on the 28th of October.
