Lide Urrestarazu

Lide Urrestarazu is a Basque trail and skyrunning athlete representing Euskal Selekzioa, the Basque Selection team.

She burst onto the international scene as a relative unknown before quickly becoming one of the standout athletes on the Merrell Skyrunner World Series circuit. A victory on her series debut helped propel her to the top of the overall rankings and established her as a leading international competitor.

Urrestarazu is particularly strong on technical and rocky terrain. Her ability to control the pace from the front has helped her build an impressive record across races in Spain, Southeast Asia and the European mountains.
