Daniel Izquierdo

Daniel Izquierdo, also known as Dani Izquierdo, is a Spanish trail runner, skyrunner and ski mountaineer from Soria.

He first attracted attention with an unexpected victory at the age of 23 and has since developed into one of Spain’s most versatile mountain athletes.

Izquierdo competes in trail and skyrunning races during the summer before turning his attention to ski mountaineering during the winter. His ability to perform across both disciplines reflects his strength, endurance and technical mountain experience.

He is particularly well suited to high-altitude environments and has also gained recognition for record-setting solo ascents alongside his international race results.
