Morgan Elliot

Morgan Elliot is an American professional trail and skyrunning athlete competing for the Merrell Trail Team.

Known for his strength on steep, technical terrain, Elliot followed a self-supported and minimalist approach to the sport during the early stages of his career. He regularly slept in parking lots before races and personally funded much of his training and competition schedule.

His major breakthrough came when he won Merrell’s inaugural Get FKT Challenge, a 3.2-mile uphill competition featuring more than 2,000 feet of elevation gain. The victory earned him a place on the Merrell athlete roster and helped launch his professional career.

Since then, Elliot has represented Team USA and competed against elite international fields at demanding skyraces around the world.
