SKYRUNNERS CONVERGE ON ITALY’S MONTE ZERBION FOR A HIGH-ALTITUDE SHOWDOWN

The high-altitude adventure of the Merrell Skyrunner® World Series continues this Saturday with the Monte Zerbion Skyrace – a world-class challenge in the heart of the Italian Alps.

The Merrell Skyrunner® World Series continues its exciting season with the upcoming Monte Zerbion Skyrace, the ninth stage of the 2025 circuit. Chatillon, Aosta, prepares to welcome elite athletes and mountain running enthusiasts from around the globe. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Italian Alps, this iconic race has become a must-do event in the international skyrunning calendar.
 

Taking place in the shadow of the majestic Monte Zerbion (2,728 m), the race offers a grueling yet spectacular 22km, with 2,200m+, route with technical ascents, panoramic ridgelines, and alpine terrain that challenges both physical endurance and skyrunning skill. Runners will ascend from the picturesque village of Chatillon through ancient trails and rugged peaks, culminating at the summit of Monte Zerbion before a fast-paced descent to the finish.
