THE MERRELL SKYRUNNER® WORLD SERIES HITS POLAND FOR THE TATRA SKYMARATHON

Elite Skyrunners to Conquer Tatra Peaks This Weekend at Tatra SkyMarathon – Round 15 of the 2025 Merrell Skyrunner® World Series.

The Skyrunner® World Series returns to Europe this weekend with its 15th stage: the Tatra SkyMarathon. Set in the dramatic Tatra Mountains, this iconic event marks the first-ever Polish stage in the prestigious Merrell Skyrunner® World Series.

The main event of the day is the epic Tatra SkyMarathon – 45km with 3,300 m positive elevation – starting from Kościelisko and traversing the highest peaks, including a summit at 2,176 m above sea‑level. Over 300 elite athletes from around the globe will descend on Zakopane for the alpine challenge.

In addition to elite athletes competing for points in the overall ranking, U23 athletes vie for the Trofeo Esteban Olivero youth title in the Tatra Trail category, continuing the Series’ commitment to nurturing future skyrunning talent with a 15.5 km route with 650 m positive elevation.

With such an incredible course and location, it’s no surprise that the event has attracted some of the top athletes in the series.
