The 2 Peaks Skyrace® is a steep, technical and visually stunning race in the Skyrunner World Series, held in the Yeongnam Alps of South Korea. This loop-format Skyrace® takes athletes over two major summits, combining sharp climbs, rocky ridgelines and fast technical descents through vibrant autumn mountain scenery. With 2,500 m+ of ascent across 26 km, it offers an intense, high-energy challenge for elite and U23 runners.
The 2 Peaks Skyrace® traverses two of the Yeongnam Alps’ most striking summits, featuring steep forested climbs that open into rocky ridges with panoramic views.
The route blends fast runnable sections with sharp ascents and exposed rocky terrain, especially near the upper ridges. Autumn foliage and fast-changing weather add to the race’s dynamic mountain character, making it a distinctive challenge within the Skyrunner World Series.
The Yeongnam Alps are easily reached from major South Korean cities via air and road.
