The Saint Jeoire Skyrace® is a steep and rugged challenge within the Skyrunner World Series, taking place in the alpine terrain surrounding Saint Jeoire in the French Alps. This loop-format Skyrace® delivers a mix of forested climbs, rocky ridgelines and fast technical descents. With 2,800 m+ of ascent over 30 km, the race is explosive, physical and known for intense elevation gain packed into a compact course.
The Saint Jeoire Skyrace® ascends quickly from the village into steep forest trails before reaching sharp, rocky ridges overlooking the surrounding alpine landscape.
Athletes face a mix of fast runnable sections, demanding climbs and exposed technical terrain. With constant elevation change and high-energy movement from start to finish, the course offers a classic French alpine skyrunning experience.
Saint Jeoire is easily accessed from major airports in eastern France and western Switzerland.
