The Skyrace® Gorges du Tarn is a rugged and scenic challenge within the Skyrunner World Series, taking place in the dramatic limestone terrain above St Enimie in southern France. This loop-format Skyrace® features steep technical climbs, airy ridgelines and rapid descents overlooking the iconic Gorges du Tarn canyon. With 1,800 m+ of ascent spread across 25 km, the race delivers an intense and atmospheric experience for elite athletes and U23 runners.
The Skyrace® Gorges du Tarn climbs from St Enimie into the rugged Causses limestone plateau, where steep forest paths lead to exposed ridgelines overlooking one of France’s most dramatic canyons.
The loop features sharp rocky ascents, technical switchbacks and fast descents through forest and cliffside terrain. With panoramic views of the gorge and constantly changing ground, the course delivers a true skyrunning experience rooted in steep gradients and technical mountain running.
St Enimie is located in the Lozère region of southern France and is accessible via regional airports and scenic drives through the Gorges du Tarn valley.
