Alain Santamaria is a triple world champion from Ezcaray, La Rioja. At the World Skyrunning Championships, he swept the Kilometre Vertical, SKY and Combined titles in one of the most dominant individual performances in championship history.

He has also spoken openly about the financial pressures elite skyrunners face, making him one of the sport’s most outspoken voices as well as one of its strongest competitors.
