Luca Del Pero is one of Italy’s most consistent skyrunners. He spent 2024 building quietly, with a first win at Gorbeia Suzien and a runner-up finish at SkyMasters, before turning the following season into a statement with four SWS victories and the overall title.
Known for explosive climbing and measured tactical pacing, he broke course records at both Calamorro and Acantilados del Norte in the same season. He is also one of the few athletes combining SWS victories with podiums on the UTMB circuit.
